In the Garden

In the garden
I stand
Swirling spring vines
Entangle my body,
Hiding me,
Protecting me.
Clumsy bees buzz
Secrets in my ears

I look up
The sun has arrived
Peeking though the
Spider webbed trees

The gleaming beams reach me,
Favor me above all.

At my feet sun kissed daisies grow
By a small puddle formed by the
Sky’s tears.

I glance down
My immortal face rippling
In the peaceful water

I will stand here forever.
