A reposting after making a mistake of deleting it before:

I know. If you’ve read my other works, this is like nothing new. Just another view on death from this one. Now just hear me out on this. Some people keep one single view of what death is like. I, on the other hand, have and keep many views on it. Some people feel the need to hold onto several views on such a subject. Have I rambled enough for ya now? Maybe most of you skipped ahead to the poem. Oh well....as usual, enjoy.

Death

Just the beginning of the end.

The end of pain,

the beginning of sorrow and emptiness,

and the end of life as we know it.

Is death real, or is it just a word?

No one can positively tell us,

it’s like the reason were afraid of it,

Or at least most of us are.

Some actually welcome it and anticipate it.

It’s possible that life leads to death just to lead it back,

a continuous motion from life to death.

or can we never die, just start all over again in another body?

That’s where many religions began

pondering a link to death and life.

It’s their way of explaining it all.

So WHAT is death?

According to me,

nothing.

Live, die then repeat...

my ass
