The Aftermath of Love

I set all your pictures and poems to flames
But look at me, I'm still held in your reins
Bound by these chains
I can still hear your voice in my head
I look alive but I know I'm dead
They say blood is blue, but I KNOW * I * bleed red
Crying alone in bed
No one to hold me
And sometimes I think suicide is the only
Way to deal
I can't heal
How I look and how I feel
Are two different things
You lied and said you never gave me a ring
15 was the number of diamonds it had in it
You said you never meant it
Said it was just a fuck, said I was never you girl
Said you never promised me the world..
