Act 1: We have to be respectful

We were on a field trip to see a play at this kind of fancy theatre place. It was a Civic Center. My friends and I were sitting on one of the balconies in the theatre. We were on the first row of the balcony so we were putting our feet all over the wall in front of us.

"This is so boring!" Bethany said. "I know." Kelsey said. We sat there kicking the wall for a while more, waiting for the show to start. "I wish we could go to the bathroom or something." I said. "Mary you always have to go to the bathroom!" Kelsey told me. We sat there for a little longer. We didn't want to yell or act as stupid as we usually did because Mrs. H and Mrs. C had decided to sit right next to us for the play to keep us out of trouble.

"If any girls need to go to the bathroom come with me!" Mrs. Z, one of our teachers, said. We all stood up immediately and started to follow her out of the theatre. "Behave your self!" Mrs. H yelled behind me. 'Yeah Right.' I thought.

We walked out of the theatre and down some steps to a huge hall that kind of was curved. It was kind of fancy too. There were these huge thick pillars all the way up to the huge tall ceiling about every 20 feet.

There was a big group of kids going to the bathroom. We three were lagging behind the group a little and talking and acting stupid while walking down the hall.

Mrs. Z started to keep looking behind her at us. Than finally she started to walk backwards and motioned for us to walk faster. We did, but we still were banging into each other and blabbing the whole time.

Mrs. Z walked backwards again, and started a big lecture as we all were still walking to the bathroom.

"Now you have to be quiet because there are other people trying to enjoy the theatre and do work too." Mrs. Z lectured while walking backwards facing the group.

I saw a pillar coming up with a huge trash can coming up like 2 pillars away. I got a great idea.

"This building does not belong to you. It is someone else's territory." Mrs. Z continued, all of still walking.

I saw the pillar wit the trash can coming closer. We were right near it.

"We have to be quiet and respectful of other people's territory." Mrs. Z said.

BANG! CRASH!

I slammed my whole right side into the trash can and it fell over onto the pillar and made a huge noise that could have been heard across the building. All of the kids laughed and Mrs. Z got mad. Needless to say I was in big trouble.
