For I am alone here
and this I know better
than you would think.

Betrayed by my
so called friends just
when I needed them the most.

Lost alone amongst
the vast crowds that
gather here and there.

I need something but
what I do not
know, yet I need it.

I am hidden
in the back and
in the deep shadows.

see me then no one
