Let the winds tangle my thoughts,

Let the hail scrub my skin raw-

so it glistens with purity.

Let the lightning scorch my eyes,

Imprinting itself on my eyelids;

erasing all these visions

in my head.

Let the thunder drown

my mind

and let it slam

troubles against the walls

of this prison of mine,

until only skeletons remain.

Let the rain cleanse

these poisons.

Let the rain wash

these worries,

let it sweep them away.

Let the lightning etch wings-

upon my back.

Let it illuminate my face.

Let the wind sweep my locks,

let me-

become beautiful,

let me-

become the storm.

Let me fly away.

Leave these earthly realities,

and find my soul among the clouds,

so I’ll see tomorrow-

and all Eternity.
