Rain

Underneath The Lies

*~*~*

They met in the rain

March 8, 1992

In the alley behind fourth street

And they walked

And they talked

When the rain ceased they parted ways

‘Can I see you again?’ he asked

She answered, ‘Meet me when it rains.’

So they met on every occasion that it rained

And they walked

And they talked

And for a couple of hours, they were free from the sins of the world

Now he’s gone

And she’s all alone

But every time it rains

She walks

And she knows that he’s near

*~*~*fin*~*~*
