Relinquish
And death then laid his fist on the flower
The flower that I cared for, I nurtured!
This gift of earth stood against repeated
Blows of cannonballs from each of death's fingers
This wall once stood great but then crumbled
I could care for an entire garden
If I decide so!
But it is this flower who I will struggle
To hold close to me
Even at death's worst touch
It will not take my flower way
I will pray for its happy new journey
I will visit it when I can
As for now, My rain must be relinquished
From the clouds of light and darkness
