Prologue
Fall came and it went. Soon winter was upon us all. The trees glistened with snowflakes. Not a sound was heard. Heather silently walked along the snow covered ground. The cold made her shiver and she wrapped her coat tightly around her thin frame. This was her favorite time of year, when all nature died. Don't get her wrong though. She loved when earth was blossoming with life, but the beauty of death always entranced her. The world's lifeless color. It's as if Mother Nature sucked the vitality out of everything. It reminded Heather of how life is. People live, then at some point of their life they die and the cycle never ends.
Heather’s black hair whipped around her face, as the chilling wind guided her. Although she didn't like where it was taking her. A place like hell. School...nothing but inanimate people. People, who care of only their looks, people who care of only their place and status in this forsaken town. People who were perfect. Heather scoffed at this. Perfect...no one is perfect. Although they like to put up a mask and make them seem like they are. Heather emerged in front of 3 huge buildings. They towered over her like the gates of hell. Sighing to her self she walked up the stairs and opened the doors to the first day back from winter vacation.
