Hunger

Hollowed keep of flesh and bone
Confined ferocity
Let me unsheathe for you my claws

A rotting carcass on my bed
Melting into cotton
Biding my time as I slowly decompose

Reluctant emotion stirring in me
Alien, I was naive to dub it
But desire has always been my best friend

Blood lust and sexual itching
Burning in more ways than one
Cold water - an idiot remedy for pleasure

Voices humming in the back of my mind
So long I've kept silent
This scream I long to tell

Folds of skin conceal the bruises
Wounds inflicted with hesitant force
How capable am I of such beauty?

She is my succubus, Satan's handmaiden
I love her and hate her
Writhing at her feet

Don't you know these gashes are for you?
Identity is wasted on me
Scarcely human and bitter

Hungering for blood and marrow
Silken between my teeth
Slitting, slashing, mauling every inch of you

Gorgeous, gorgeous red on white
My favorite contradiction
Beauty on a bed of velvet lined oak

Howling and wailing on your tombstone
Stone angels with mock smiles
Thank you for waking me up

This is my first real scream in years
