I awoke for classes late that day. I had a late night studying. my
parents always made me study, even though I was one of the best students in
my class. I hopped out of bed, and ran around my room, desperately trying
to find something clean to wear.
It was laundry day. Oh great. No clean clothes, I was late for class,
I didn't have time to do anything. I don't think my teacher would mind if I
missed his class, and I didn't really feel like rushing.
It had been a few months since I had broken up with my boyfriend. He
just decided to stop calling me. And I saw him on my way home one day,
making out with some girl.
A girl? I didn't know he liked girls. But then again, I didn't know a
lot about him. He didn't seem to have any kind of emotional attachment to
me. Just a toy I guess.
Anyway, I flew down the stairs, and to the kitchen. I threw the fridge
open, and sniffed around. Nothing good. My parents needed to go shopping. I
closed it, and looked in the cupboards, and around on the counter. Ahh we
had fruit.
I grabbed a peach, and a banana. I quickly downed them. I love fruit.
Bananas are my favorite though. They're so yummy, and rich in potassium. I
grabbed a few more fruits, and went back upstairs to my room. I stripped
down, and looked at myself in the mirror. Oh wow, no wonder everyone picks
on me. I'm so small. And I look so frail.
I'm not as weak as everyone thinks. Well, maybe I am. But that's okay.
I ran my hands over my pale chest, and thought to myself. Maybe I should
try gaining more weight. And maybe I should tan. Oh well.
I quickly snapped out of it, and shuffled into my bathroom. I turned
on the shower, and let it run for a minute, before I turned my stereo on,
cranked it up, and stepped in. the water was hot, just how I like it. Cold
water scares me.
My shower was quite enjoyable. My shampoo left my hair with the scent
of fresh fruit. If I could, I would have eaten that shampoo. I tried once,
and I didn't like it.
I dried off a little, and decided to take advantage of my empty house for
once. I waltzed downstairs naked, and made my way to the laundry room. I'm
not the kind of person who usually does that, but I felt good.
The laundry room floor was cold on my feet. I let out a little yelp as my
toes touched the icy concrete. I jumped onto the little rug, and knelt,
peering into the half open dryer. I pulled out a few of my shirts, and a
pair of pants. This day was going to be different, and I knew it.
