Just when I thought I was free

You smiled and took me in
Just when I thought I was at liberty
I heard your laugh echoing in my ears
You drove me insane, mad with hope
Light up my life and made me believe
In something I thought I didn't need
You stole my heart away
I want to escape from your precious grasp
I want to feel myself again
But you just laugh and hold me tighter
I have fallen once again
