to get to know the true you?
Showed you that they really cared,
a friend through and through?

Have you ever looked into someone's eyes,
and can't look away?
Or stop in mid sentence,
not know what to say?

Have you ever been around someone,
and felt so great inside?
Have you ever wished things were different,
that fate should just die?

Have you ever wanted to be with someone,
but doubt consumed your mind?
That they were above your level,
and didn't have the time?

I have these feelings all the time
And I just want you to know
