Like a leaf fallen from an old oak
Drifting in the warm summer wind
I laugh at your joke
But I cannot comprehend

Like a strand of your silky dark hair
When it falls in front of your beautiful eyes
It is so not fair
I told so many lies

You laugh when I make mistakes
I do not understand
What does it take for you to stop?
You tell me you cant, but what if you can?

I forgive you always
But to be truly forgiven you must stop
No more jokes and no more teasing
Please, that is all I ask.
