Saskatchewan Highway: A Tanka
This empty stretch of
Saksatchewan highway
Reaches out for me;
One of your arms stretched
To draw me home to your love.
(note: Saskatchewan is a province in central Canada. It's pretty flat and
mostly consists of grain fields in the summer and snowy fields in the
winter. I'm sure that there is stuff there, this is just the mental image
it provokes.)
