(A/N: Flamewing suggested I write something to calm myself down after a
rather interesting episode on my part. This was the result.)

A Butterfly's Rebirth

A cool morning leads to my wake
I shake the dew off my wings
Peer out onto the horizon
To see what the morning brings.
The tangerine sun is rising
I feel the soft, silv'ry wind blow
I spread my rainbow wings,
Letting my true colors show.
Today there will be no nets
To capture me in midair,
No jars to stint my freedom
Or overheat me in the sun's glare.
Today I fly high
Away from the clutches of earth
Isn't the most beautiful thing
A butterfly's rebirth?
