Before I met you I was lost to love
It was just a word without true meaning
The day we met all that changed
The castle with it's centuries old baracades walls never breached
When I saw those eyes and that smile they turned to dust
All resistance crumbled.
Before I met you smiles were hard to find
Now I find myself sat alone smiling as I think of you
You have changed me, even though I never thought it possible
When you hold my hand I feel every inch of five foot eight
You give me the support I never had
Love that I was scared to even dream of.
When we watch the sunset I thank my stars
That an angel such as you exists
When the sun catches the blue in your ring
It reminds me that you will forever be my queen
When we make love it seems that the whole world stops
That the earth the moon and the stars revolve around you.
Sometimes when I'm alone I close my eyes
Imagining your voice whispering in my ear
For every tear you weep in sorrow I will weep two
I would rather you hurt me than hurt yourself
I could never imagine my life without you
You give me meaning and strength.
Remember the walk in the storm
The wind whipping over the harbour wall
We held each other close and kissed
For me there was no wind no rain just blazing sunshine
My heart entwined in yours
I can't wait to stand beside you and say "I do."
