You mysterious creature,

Why do you tempt me so?

I used to know you well,

But I soon learned

To fear that which hurts;

That pain you instilled in me

Drove me from your chaos;

You are so beautiful and charming to all,

Yet why do you harm your believers?

You weren't always that bad,

You were in fact so good to me for a time;

I know you always sit in the background and hope

That I may one day be loyal again;

My heartache is now dispersing

I can feel you so near,

So close I can almost grasp you;

And I know we shall one day meet anew,

When Love, oh Love,

You shall own me once again
