What's the matter Jennifer?
Why are you lying on the pavement?
I see the flashing lights all around,
But you don't know why.
You did nothing at all.
Jake decided to drink,
Then took a joy ride home.
Only, he forgot to think.
Lying in a bed,
Foreign to your own.
Strangers all around,
Where can you roam?
The room begins to dim,
But you see a light.
You travel to a happier place.
Leaving from my sight.
I'm sorry for you short life
That you were forced to live.
Now you are happy
And I have nothing to give.
But I have a wish.
Comfort Jake's restive soul.
Because he'll have to live with this,
Chilling and forever cold.
