Companion Poems
Country--the Lamb
I look into the sky, bold ere dawn and warm of summer breeze
The night is quiet with thousand loving eyes adoring in the dark
Hums of crickets' chirp and the din of whispered grass
Calls of owls and morningbirds and call of the meadowlark.
City--the Tiger Cub
I look into the street ere life did come to slow
The chatter of people and cars buzz by and the silent fall of snow
Hums of neon and lights unbound with movement full of life and sound
Calls of taxi cabs and vendor carts, nary did it stop before again in starts.
