Farewell

In your eyes I can see

You want something new

Something I don’t have

But I’m not changing for you.

Go and make her happy

Put a smile on her face

Sweep her off her feet

Keep her in your embrace

I’m not worth your time

That’s all right; I’ll live

Searching for someone who

Wants what I can give

Give her an adventure

One she shan’t forget

Hold her tiny hand

Kiss her without regret

You’ll find your girl

Someone lovely and swell

But this one here isn’t it

So she is saying farewell.
