Chapter Three
I once finished a story
I loved it very much
My sister was fond of its glory
It was all done, edited and such.
Each chapter belonged to a separate section
They weren't all kept together
I didn't think my mom would get into a cleaning session
And clean as thoroughly as a floating feather
The next day
I went to find chapter three
But then the sun lost its rays
Chapter three was somewhere free
I asked my mother
Where it was
She threw it away, but told me not to bother,
It wasn't worth any sort of buzz
My lovely chapter three
It ran away
From me
And made me want to hide away
I learned something from this
Bang! Instant education
I've lost my innocent bliss
But I'll never trust my mother with another publication.
