~*~Epilogue~*~

Ever since the day Lord Elrond saved Cameron, he and Melanie have been together. They traveled the world for sometime but when Melanie became pregnant they decided it would be best to settle down somewhere.

Cameron tried to remember the last place he felt at 'home' and he thought of the village where Hiroko lived. She had always treated Cameron like her own, and if she knew about Melanie's condition she'd surly said yes to them staying with her until they found a place of their own.

"Cameron, I feel bad asking her if we can stay with her, I mean she is an old woman," Melanie said with a sigh.

"Mel, c'mon, she's like a mother to me, it won't bother her, and you can't be sleeping outside with Little Cameron growing inside you." He said stroking her stomach.

"Cameron, we are NOT naming our son Little Cameron," Melanie said with a giggle.

"Why not, I happen to like that name," he said looking hurt.

"Cameron, that's your name, and what if it's a girl, we can't name her Cameron," Melanie replied gaining control of herself.

"Fine then, you name the kid," Cameron said with mock anger.

"Aww, Camy, don't be that way, we'll name our child together, okay?" Melanie said wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You know I like the sound of that . . . our child," Cameron said grinning.

"Oh really?" Melanie asked leaning into Cameron.

"Really, really," he replied sealing her lips with his.

Suddenly Cameron and Melanie heard someone clear their throat, they quickly separated. Standing before them was Lord Elrond. "Hello my friends," he said with a soft smile.

"Lord Elrond," Melanie and Cameron said bowing.

Lord Elrond let a small laugh escape from him. "My friends, you needn't bow to me," he said.

They both then rose and smiled their thanks. "It's great to see you again, it's been ages," Melanie said brightly.

""I had to see you two again, you were the kindest to me in my hour of need, please, if there is anything I can do for you . . . let me know, I will do my best to make it happen." He said bowing slightly.

"Lord Elrond, saving Cameron was more than enough," Melanie said wrapping her arm around Cameron's waist.

They stood there a few more minutes longer and exchanged conversation then parted their separate ways. But only after Lord Elrond blessed the little child that was growing inside Melanie.

Finally after two hours of walking they arrived at the little village. "Cameron what a surprise!" a tall thin woman exclaimed running over to him and hugging him.

Cameron stiffened when the woman embraced him. Melanie scowled. Who did this woman think she was? Melanie didn't like the look of her either, she was tall, thin, blond, and had brown eyes. She reminded Melanie of a skank, or it could have been the fact that she still hadn't let go of Cameron.

"Rachael, uh, hi, this is Melanie, my fiancée," Cameron said with a small smile.

Rachael looked like she had been hit over the head with a brick. "Oh god, I'm-I-I"

Melanie cut her off. "Yes that's right, you didn't, and now that you do you'll be sure to keep your hands off my man," Melanie threatened.

Cameron, not one wanting to cause a scene took Melanie by the arm and led her away from the tall wide eyed blond. "Geez Melanie, I don't know if I should be flattered or embarrassed by your little outburst," Cameron said nuzzling her neck.

"Well Cameron she was looking at you like she was about to jump your bones right there, what was I supposed to do, let her do it?" Melanie asked giggling.

"Cameron, I thought that was you!" Hiroku said from behind.

Cameron pulled away from Melanie and smiled at the elderly woman. "Hiroku, just the woman I wanted to see," Cameron replied embracing her.

The trio then walked into Hiroku's hut to discuss the living arrangements. Melanie and Cameron stayed with Hiroku for a couple months then found their own house. Six months after that Melanie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They decided to name her Jenabelle, meaning beautiful and bright.

Melanie was in the dark before she met Cameron, when he showed up everything lightened. And everything stayed lit.
