There is a child inside me

Who cries

Pure….

Tears

For her loss.

And she is locked away in a padded room

Curled away, tucked down in me

Cry

I

Do not cry.

I have no sadness

I am happy,

Happy;

Happy.

And yet she Weeps

For me?

For others?

For all.

She

Grieves

And I smile

And am sad that I have almost

Forgotten pain.

Forgotten to feel

Hurt in the heart

I

Cry.

As a child

I grieve,

And believe yet that all will be well

With tears

And when my sorrow is through,

I pick the girl up again,

And lock her away

Put her away

Put IT away.

Gone
