True Love

By A.W. Verheyen

My soul was lost, enthralled in a deep red casement of torment and toil. It's pain, it's suffering, shattered my frail body. I was cursed with the pale demon of a shaking heart. As my lifeblood seeped through my tattered emotions, I felt the pain of my squandered existence.

To believe, to trust, to love; all was lost. The coil that wrapped my passion in a bitter shade, was my Bane. Every ounce of my being was like the tattered rags of torn adoration. It was a darkness that severed my spirit, as it ached for leaving.

To feel such emotion, was a double-edged sword. How I longed for her love, yet it was something I could never again achieve, for she had made me empty. Her form was a fading memory in my mind, as it should remain.

Would such sentiment ever cross my heart again? For some time, I was a beast in my own physique. To greet the day was a burden upon me. Yet to love again; how would someone as I achieve that destinction?

The essence of being can be your truest companion. For it was a sensuous rekindle that once again made me believe. It was a cascade of true beauty that gave my life the ultimate purpose. It was a new love that made me feel whole.

The squalid shadow that passed over my heart, lifted. The spire that cast fire down upon me, transcended to that of love, love of a woman. It was through this endearment that I became one. The demon within, transformed to an angel.

For it was her new love that uncondensed the fracture on my heart. Her radiance, her emotion, her elegance; with these she mended the tear in my soul. She seemed to blossom with a virtuous animation, one that swallows your fears and makes your existence redeemed.

Her prosperous delicacy brought forth a palate of tears to my eyes. She seemed composed of the beauty of the heavens, and my inhibitions make me believe she was. The splendor that she gave made me shiver from her brilliance. I felt exalted from her mere presence.

When I first gazed eyes upon her, it felt as though time stood still, if only for a moment. As I looked into her eyes, my heart began to dance upon my chest. I felt consumed with the spirit behind her flowing hair.

The preciosity of her essentia lifted my heart to a higher plane. She gave me an aspiration of uniformity, a reason to love. I am drowning in the sea of her being. The ornate substance of her tender skin is like a propensity of the soul.

Words cannot express how I feel. It is the eminations of her life that make me whole. She makes me as a flowing river. She makes me as a spring's rebirth. She gives me my heart.....
