Laying here now, on the ground,
I can see the errors of my ways,
That they were not sound
For now this is the end of days.
Upon the entry to night,
Within the shroud of shades
I'm distanced from the fight.
My inner light fades.
Feeling my soul implode.
Feeling this life of mine fall apart,
Oats reaped that were sown.
This is the end, where was the starts
Watching the sky spin
Feeling the weight
Feeling the weight of my sin.
Glancing at last upon the gate.
Waiting for the judge,
Sure that I'll fail like the rest,
Though I'd hold no grudge,
Even if shown the deepest detest.
