i could feel the fire beginning to burn up from the pit of my stomach. my fingers became rigid as i felt the urge bubbling within me; my mouth opened instinctively and my eyes widened in the darkness. i lay still, failing to control the thirst for the taste that fueled my internal fire. next to me, i could hear your soft breathing, unaware of my silent battle, sleeping peacefully on this warm summer night. at once i broke out into a sweat, shivering with expectation. my muscles were taut, my head filling with the familiar humming sensation i was now used to. i carefully rose on arms filled with a new strength, and lowered myself down on you, hovering less than an inch from your skin, my slow breath barely showing movement in your hair. i could taste your smell like a fresh rain on a dry day. my mouth hovered over your most succulent area, watering, ready and craving the essences contained there. it drew me, hypnotically, a tempting voice across an ocean of mists, filling my mind with images of rapture punctuated with overwhelming feelings of desire and lust. and as i sunk my teeth into you, tasting your ecstacy most souls oversee, all i could think of was how i'd miss your snoring.
