With a giggle the little girl hid behind the tree before her time was
up. Within minutes though she was found giggling hard behind the protection
of a big palm tree. The boy who'd found her smiled broadly showing off his
small white teeth.
"Trinity! Your not posed to giggle silly." The boy said his dirty
blonde hair ruffled, flying everywhere in the wind. His hair was to his
ears, and his eyes a dark ocean blue. "Common lets get away from the palm
trees before we get into trouble!" He said dragging a giggling Trinity
along. Her light brown hair whipped in the wind, she was wearing a
beautiful white dress with ruffles on the bottom. Trinity's dress flowed
behind her as she ran along the stone lined path up to her paradise home.
"Daddy!" She yelled letting go of the boy's hand as she caught sight
of her parents, her arms wide open ready to be picked up and spun around.
The young man smiled broadly and bent down low waiting patiently for his
little girl to get to his arms. Trinity giggled widely and her mother
laughed as her father whirled her around in the air and kicking her feet.
"I love you munchkin." He whispered.
"I love you too daddy!" Trinity gave a big smile her dimples showing.
Trinity's big tear drop brown eyes went wide, her long lashes sky high in
the sunlight. Her skin was fair while her fathers was tanned.
"Now Brian dear lets go have something to drink. Would you like to
come Kyle?" Trinity's mother asked the little boy who was now holding her
hand.
"Yes m'." He replied happily.
"Brian.come along." Her worried voice rang out to her husband who was
talking to their daughter who was giggling madly.
"Coming Jenny give me a minute." There was a heavy sigh and footsteps
that faded as her mother walked off bringing along Kyle who glanced back at
Trinity.
"Daddy." Trinity's little voice began.
"Yes munchkin?"
"Can you..can you run as fast as a horse daddy?" This brought a big
booming laugh from her father.
"Of course not you silly goose, can you run as fast as . a puppy?"
Brian asked her in return.
"Daddy." She said convicting him. "I'm not all growed up yet of
course not." Her voice was serious.
"Oh well that's too bad. We better go get something to drink before
we die of thirst." Trinity's eyes went wide and her face became one of
fear.
"Daddy! Hurry! I don't wanna die!" A deep chuckle came as Brian
started to walk towards the patio.
"I was joking munchkin we wouldn't die of thirst right outside our
house. Silly goose!" Trinity blinked as her jaw dropped and her eyes turned
into a glare. She closed her mouth quickly as she glared at her father.
"Daddy that was mean of you, you scareded me!" She gave a little hmph
and refused to talk to him until he raised an eyebrow and tickled her.
When they reached the house Brian quickly kissed Jenny as she handed
him a cup of water.
"What about me?" Trinity said her lower lip went out and quivered.
"What about you missy?"
"Daddy said I'd die of thirsts," She said trying to say the word
correctly. "If I didn't get anyfing to drink!" Jenny glared over at her
husband who put on an innocent face.
"I can't believe you!" She laughed. "Telling a 5 year old that."
Rolling his eyes Brian explained.
"Lets go play in my room!" Trinity squirmed in her fathers arms until
he set her down.
"Okay!" With a giggle they ran hand in hand to Trinity's room and got
out a couple toys.
"You know what?" Trinity stated suddenly standing up. "We should play
house!" Kyle moved uneasily as he stood up with her.
"I don't like house.remember.remember last time?" He said looking
around.
"But that was long time ago!" Trinity said with a matter of fact
voice.
Kyle sighed. "Okay but I don't wanna have no kids this time." Trinity
was in the motion of grabbing a baby doll before he said that.
"Why not!"
"Cause I always gots ta changeded they're poops out an stuff." He
said with disgust.
"So? That's what a daddy does ya know." Her small fists placed on her
hips.
"Well whats the mommies job?" Trinity rolled her little eyes.
"You don't know?" She said in a convicting tone, with a tsk of her
tongue and a heavy sigh she stared at him.
"Um.no." Kyle said squirming not wanting Trinity to get mad.
"Mommies go get the babies from the hoskital and feed them. We makes
they're closed too, daddies changed the diapers and help take cared of the
babies." Kyle's mouth turned into an O shape.
"I didn't know that."
"That's why you're my bestest friend." Trinity smiled.
"Trinity I love you!" Kyle said hugging her.
With a giggle Trinity hugged him back. "I love you lots!"

"Trinity! What.what are you doing! Oh geez now I'm going to have to
come down there and get you out!" Kyle said exasperated.
"Oh be quiet and get me out before dad finds out I was down here!"
Trinity giggled softly as Kyle tried to get the ladder over to the large
gravel pit. "Don't tell me you can't lift that." Her voice worried.
"Don't tell me you can't climb up that." Kyle mimicked.
"Shut up Kyle or I'll tell whats her butt that your in LOVE with
her."
"I am not in love with Kriss she's cool and all but sorry no way!"
Kyle said puffing.
"Oh.your sorry?" Trinity hid her smile and acted like she was in
shock. "I guess it's true then isn't it." Kyle gave a groan.
"No Trinity you know me better than that, the girl I like is way
cooler. She's really pretty too!" He said roughly as he shoved the ladder
down the hole.
"Watch it next time!" Trinity said leaping out of the way before the
ladder landed on her foot.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you, you know you'll get in
trouble if your down here!" He grabbed the ladder heaving it up as Trinity
stepped onto the firm ground in front of him.
"Its not my fault I slipped." She said grabbing the metal step as she
helped Kyle bring the ladder back up.
"Is that what your calling it now?" Kyle pushed the ladder back to
where it was and sat down breathing hard. Trinity sat down next to him her
own breathes coming fast. She laid back stretching her arms out on the
grass; the sun shining in her dirty blonde hair. (Her hair color is
changing)
"I'm not calling it anything this time it's the truth, I don't think
I'd go down there now anyway after last time I got in trouble for it." Kyle
gave a little laugh.
"Well now I want a nap." A yawn escaped from Trinity as she closed
her eyes. Kyle sat on her stomach and she groaned loudly. "Get off of me
you big fatty!" She smiled as Kyle gave a gasp.
"I think not Miss 'Oh my god I'm like almost 90 pounds!' you're the
fat one not me." Trinity's eyes flickered open and glared at Kyle who had a
sloppy smile on his face.
"Yeah well it's muscle unlike you, fatty." Kyle laughed as he looked
at her skinny arms. "Just because its not in my arms doesn't mean I don't
have any, duh!" Kyle rolled his eyes unbelievingly.
"What ever I don't care if you don't believe." Trinity shrugged and
pushed Kyle off. She closed her eyes again and soon fell asleep. Kyle
stayed awake watching her with a grin. He laid down next to her and turned
his face so that her ear was next to his mouth as he whispered.
"I love you Trinity, I always will." He smiled looking up at the sky
before drifting off into a light doze.

"I'm not ready yet, you better not snap that pic-" Trinity was cut
off by the flash of a camera. Her eyes narrowed as she ran her tongue over
her teeth and raised an eyebrow. She stood at 5'6" and her hair came down
to her shoulder blades, it was thick with a silky blonde coloration. Kyle
stood with a grin on his face showing off his set of white teeth. His hair
now a darker brown, was still all over the place. Trinity gave a little
laugh her eyes were still closed as she shook her head. With a raised
eyebrow Kyle began to back away, he knew that laugh meant trouble.
"Whatever, go down stairs and keep my date company." Kyle rolled his
eyes and did as he was told. Trinity was wearing white sandals, they laced
up her leg till a little before her knee and they had a heel to them. There
was a little fold over strap that her big toe's went into when she slipped
the sandals on. Her skirt was a white mini with a white belt to match. A
white v-neck spaghetti strapped tank covered her top half and a nice white
jacket went over it. She was wearing black mascara and eyeliner, her eye
shadow was a light shell pink. She pulled her hair back into a pony with
ringlets coming out from behind..
With a quick pull she managed to get a few chunks of hair on either
side to fall out. She smoothed light pink lip gloss over her lips and gave
herself a once over. Now satisfied with her appearance she turned and
walked downstairs. She was going to her first high school dance and
everybody was dressing up and taking dates.
"Whew." She breathed. "Okay relax." She took a deep breath and smiled
as she walked down the stairs her family waiting at the bottom. Kyle took a
few pictures and smiled up at her.
"Now look at that! Never knew you could look half way decent."
Trinity rolled her eyes and laughed as Kyle commented.
"Don't be hatin', just cause your jealous." She looked him up and
down in a superior way.
"Don't look at me in that tone of voice young lady." He retaliated
putting his hands on his hips. "Who do you think you are? The presidents
daughter?" Trinity once again rolled her eyes and turned to her date who
was smiling.
"You look really nice." Trinity smiled happily.
"Thanks." She said shyly. "Your not to bad yourself." Trinity said
with a wink. The boy had on black slacks and a black silk shirt, he was
wearing designer shoes, black of course; and a pair of black ankle socks
that came above his shoe line. He had black hair which was spiked up and
silver earrings in his ears. They were curved like a C and had spikes on
each end. Trinity smiled as she walked over to the door, with a wave and a
smile she and her date disappeared out the door.
"Have a good time honey!" Her parents yelled after her as they walked
into the living room.
Kyle sighed and a look of disappointment came over his face as he
trudged outside after them. He was also wearing black and his brown hair
was spiked in the manner that Trinity's "boyfriend" had goin on. Kyle
plastered a smile on and let out a breath.
"I wish you felt the same Trin I really do." He whispered to himself,
remembering his words long ago. 'I love you Trinity, I always will.' "I
should just get over it, she's never going to like me like that.just be her
best friend Kyle.that's all she wants." A sigh escaped as he ran to catch
up with the two teens in front of him.
