Prologue

May 12, 2042, four teenagers at the age of 16 were riding in car after a party. The driver of the car was charged with impaired driving. Though the other passengers told authorities that there were four people in the car, only three bodies were found.

|five years later|

"We're so glad you can help us with our research at Brandon and Heffener," greeted the head scientist, Dr. Preston. "Now before we enter the room, you have to be extremely quiet or you'll ruin the experiment. Understand Miss O'Sullivan?"

The young woman nodded. She just started her internship recently at the research centre of Brandon and Heffener.

"Here we are," Dr. Preston said as he opened the door to a dark room.

This room in particular seemed large at sight, but in reality it is small. On one wall, there is a window which lets in a small amount of light during the night. On the wall next to the door, lies a computer with a heart monitor. Finally, in the middle, lies a containment chamber with someone, or something, half naked and wired to the computer. The young woman was amazed at what she saw. She wanted to say what was on her mind, but quickly remembered what Dr. Preston said. They both left the room.

"All my life, I never knew such a creature could exist," she said after she left the room. "Does it have a name?"

"A name you say," replied the doctor with a chuckle. "Its name, is Lucifer."
