What happens in the night so deep
When it seems as if we are in dreamless sleep
What happens when the world fades away
Into the darkness, away from the day

What happens when we feel like we are gone
We feel like nothing, but we are wrong
For there must be something beneath
Looking beyond the abyss, something underneath

We leave our bodies behind
But we are always back in time
To wake up feeling relaxed
Unaware of the time that has passed
