What I'm about to write
Is truly from my heart
These words are just for you,
And now my poem shall start.

You are the first guy
That I had true feelings for
Everything was going good,
But then the rain started to pour.

That relationship is gone,
It has been for some time
Then a beautiful friendship blossomed
And it was in its prime.

We've had many laughs and giggles,
And shared many personal tears.
We'd talk about Alice and Bob,
I'd tell you about my funny fears.

You've been there for me,
Through happiness and troubles
But then today, all of this
Almost came to be just rubble.

I didn't think about my actions,
Becoming too attached to you.
I became really dependent,
Without realizing it was making you blue.

What's been said has been said
What's been done has been done
Now that everything is different,
Can we still be friends and have fun?
