What I See In The World Around Me

10:20 P.M.

I walk outside and a chilling breeze
Swirls around, hits me in the face
But that's okay, I think and smile
That's just God's loving embrace

I walk to my car and raindrops fall
I smile, they being to me a revelation
I'm soaking wet, standing there, and it's okay
It is, for me, a symbol of my salvation

I walk outside; it's burning hot
I venture back in for a cool drink of water
The liquid refreshes me, and I smile
Another reminder of all God offers

I walk outside, and see the myriad of colours
I am overwhelmed with a wonderful sensation
I smile as I see the most beautiful expression
It's God's greatest blessing, His treasured Creation.
