Title: The sun doesn’t shine anymore
Author: AnnaSun

I lie alone in the darkness,
A memory of you implanted in my head,
Outside the cold wind is blowing,
And on my pillow I’ve been weeping,
The sun doesn’t shine anymore.
I listen to the tree creaking,
And the sound of your voice in my head,
Alone in my dark, dark world,
The sun doesn’t shine anymore.
I cry louder in the shadows,
A song you sang lulling in my head,
Mixed up in all these emotions.
The sun doesn’t shine anymore.
I sit quietly in the night,
An image of you flashing across my head,
Around the sound of funeral bells ringing,
Pouring my heart out,
The sun still doesn’t shine anymore
Will it?
