Disintegration

(A/N: It’s better than I Think I’ll Get Out of Here! I promise!)

everything you taught me everything that you

knew beyond a shadow of a doubt in the moon of the

truth be told you gave up a while ago and then all of you went

poof! gone in the flash of the quarter as it flips

into the fountain made for your

wish I may wish I might I’d wish you wouldn’t

tread on me because I may

bite

so tell my why you’re here and if possible

tell me why I’m here and if possible

tell me if it’s the same reason

tell me if it will lead to my untimely

disintegration

where I shall burst into a thousand little pieces to be

swirled off into oblivion which could be welcomed with

open arms, or small pieces of them

tell me your opinion

but hurry, do

because after all

not much time left until the

end of the road end of the line segment because

lines don’t end but segments do and

we’ve reached the end

or have we?

the end is in the eye of the beholder and

I don’t think the end is ready to beheld yet

not for a while until it is the truth beyond the shadow of the

doubting moon

and everything you knew everything you taught me

became true and

disintegration didn’t matter any more because

if I shattered into a thousand pieces right now

I’d reassemble

and you could tell me everything and I would listen and

the doubting moon could just disintegrate

because I am sure not going to
