Doom's Day

Walking to the store
on a day just like before
or so we all thought
but it soon appeared it was not
Skies turned deep gray
on that dreadful day
Earth and Hell became one
hate and poverty took everyone
No hope nor electricity anywhere
"Each for himself" - No one cared
Trapped but free
We were the only ones saved, him and me
Computers gone insane
had to find the switch to the main
Flicker on, flicker off
lights are almost all gone
No where was safe
Destruction was coming at a quick pace

Take my hand
we'll go together
Together we'll stand
And save this place one way or 'nother
Find the way
to save us all
from Doom's Day

We travels time, unknowingly
ten years after Doom's Day
No one seemed to notice but him and me
that to them, so long we had been away
Here, so much had changed
We found ourselves in a world
where everything was so strange
Living in a world so cold
Them all living on water and bread
No one left to help
everyone either physically or mentally dead
It was the end for this world and who knows where else
Seeing them so zombified
long time now longing for a glimmer of hope
Trying hard to keep from joining those who had so long cried
Some how we had to cope
but all hope was gone
All we could do know is hold on..
