A/N: Hmm... Another oddity. Again, it's not very good. It was like... split
second inspiration. I actually wanted to write this differently... The
first idea I had was a poem basically saying how things work when you
belong to a group of "three best friends", and all the "betrayal" that goes
on (I should know... me and my 2 friends are always screwing each other
over, and talking about each other). Then, as I was oh so dutifully washing
my hair, I got it in my head that it needed more depressing dark blood and
death... *giggles insanely*. It means nothing though. Apparently people
have gotten the idea from my poetry that I'm going to do something... Nope,
I'm not planning on it yet ^______^.

Kelly, Christina, and Jamie are...
The best of friends

Every morning, before school,
Jamie calls Kelly, to see if she's walking
So that they can walk together

Every weekend,
Jamie calls Christina and Kelly,
To see if they can spend the night

Every day after school,
Jamie asks Christina and Kelly,
If they want to stay after with her,
To help her with her homework,
And so they can have a study group together

Every night,
Jamie calls Christina,
To see what's up, and to just talk

And...

It used to be that...

Every morning, Kelly walked with Jamie
Every weekend, Kelly and Christina came over
Every day, Kelly, Christina, and Jamie would have a study group
Every night, Christina and Jamie would talk

But lately...
Things have changed

Every morning, Kelly's running late
Every weekend, Kelly and Christina claim to be busy
Every day, Kelly and Christina have to go home right away
Every night, Christina's mother needs the phone

Though Jamie may not know it,
Kelly's started walking with Christina every morning

And they don't want her around

Though Jamie may not know it,
Kelly and Christina get together every Friday night
And she's not invited

Though Jamie may not know it,
Kelly and Christina study together every day after school
And they don't want to help Jamie because she'll slow them down

Though Jamie may not know it,
Every time she calls, Christina's already on the phone with Kelly
And neither one of them wants to talk with her, so they make excuses

Though Jamie may not know it,
Kelly and Christina talk about her behind her back

About how she's a bitch
About how she's stupid
About how she's annoying
About how they don't want to spend time with her

Though Christina and Kelly may not know it,
Jamie found out...
Everything

Jamie knows about how they lie to her,
And never honestly tell her what's going on

Jamie knows everything they say about her
Jamie heard it all
Every word

And Jamie's too hurt to talk to anyone
Jamie lost her only friends
Jamie's alone again

Though Christina and Kelly may not know it,
Jamie killed herself tonight

Because she couldn't take it anymore
Because she had lost the only thing keeping her alive

Because everything a friend does, causes a chain reaction
