dreamings

I’m afraid I’m getting the

slightest bit dizzy

from the room constantly spinning

doesn’t it bother you?

because I can tell you’ve been here a while

what with the small shop you’ve set up and

who would have thought you could have fit a movie

screen in there?

but personally

I wouldn’t be showing a movie that

in extreme cases

caused mild irritation and

death

I don’t care if it didn’t leave a mark

it’s not right what you did

or was it what I did?

the spinning is killing my train of thought

I can’t remember but for

the very cold water

and that undertow

pulling me out to sea under that huge

pearlesque moon

so large that it simply cannot be real

none of this can be real

I wouldn’t really let myself drown

in this ocean in this you

so much so that I forget everything else

and that everything else is fading fast

fading into our spinning backdrop

but whatever you do, no sudden movements

because then I might wake up
