Pheonix
Awake my child of the flame.
Arise from the burning ember
of your shell.
You need not speak, I've heard your cry.
Unfurl the banner of your wings.
Let loose across the heavens as a comet.
Come alive, my little ember.
Greet the dawn with fiery blaze.
Let the smoldering glare of your
eyes never die.
And when your time is all but past
Return to me to fade away.
From your ashes life shall come
and you be but a memory of one.
