Drowning: A fragment

Something really short that I came up with, not really a whole poem, just sort of the feeling that I occasionally get when life gets hard

Drowning: A fragment

Falling Further far from grace
Silence echoes: this is your place
Slowly sinking into despair
Depression swallows, I gasp for air
Murky light glows from above
I stretch and wonder, is it love?
Struggling, flailing, breath runs short
Limbs grow weary, and heart aborts
Eyes slide shut, sink into deeps
All alone, in filth I sleep
