A veeeeeerrryy brief summary!

If you've read the 1st Nyte Shya story (losing the click) don't read this or you'll just get real bored and confused (I'm rubbish at explaining things!). If you haven't read the first story then if you want read this. Don't be put off by this page if you find it confusing, just read my story anyway, as I've said before, I'm terrible at explaining things. Read if you want to see who all the characters are and what happened in the last story, but this is not essential;

The Story so far..

Nyte Shya, the prince of North East Quynx, should have died twice already. When he was little he only survived an assassination attempt because of his uncle - a strange man no one knows much about (who is dead now by the way) - inserted some thallium tricombulate - a metal which reflects death - into his wound. Nyte lived then, but with the unfortunate side effect that the death that should have been his was radiated to anyone who stood near him, unless they themselves had some of the metal themselves. Basically since he was very small everyone around him died, and so to protect the public he was locked up in the palace for years (where the first story starts!). Nyte, however, escaped from the palace using rather, um, unconventional methods. A female water sprite, Safia Delrose, accidentally came across the prince in the palace, and unwillingly helped him to return to his body. Vilma Asyn, a faerie who worked for Nyte's father (the king duh) attempted to kill both the king and queen, carried out this deed and got killed herself - the stupid idiot. Anyway Nyte and Safia, thinking that they could be blamed for the deaths, left for the South straight away. Blah blah blah. This is a veeeery vague summary. I recommend you read the 1st story but hey it's not essential.

The characters:

Main characters:

Nyte:
Half vampire, half faerie and a prince. Can possess dead bodies and go invisible at the click of his fingers (literally). Anyway everyone near him has died for a few years so he's bound to be a bit messed up, right?

Safia:
A quick tempered water sprite. Originally from the South but has lived in the North East for years. She loves maths - doesn't that just about say it all?

Rugo:
Safia's quieter and older brother. He lives in the South and has come to the North to visit his sister and heal Nyte - Oh yeah he's half wood sprite (he has a different mother to Safia) and a gifted healer.

Mindric:
A pynule, yes a pynule. OK for anyone who doesn't know that's an evil, bald, purple cat-like creature from the South that I made up. Mindric is no exception to this rule as he's bald, purple, cat-like, from the South and very very evil. He has in his possession some thallium tricombulate. (Yeah he swallowed it in the last story but it came out now if you get my drift) Anyway he's claimed the throne to North East Quynx, basically by claiming to kill the king. As everyone think that Nyte's dead, Nyte can hardly claim the throne, can he?

Rupe:
A gnome who was responsible for killing Nyte, um, the second time! He's actually a nice guy, though, and has witnessed Mindric's possession of the throne. He knows the truth and he's running from it!

Just random characters

Jilli:
Rupe's pregnant wife. Not a main character, but still hey you'll hear her name!

Vilma
Ok she's dead, so she's obviously not a main character. Her name could crop up though. Basically she's an evil faerie responsible for Nyte's problem and who tried to seize the throne. Anyway as I've already said, she's veeery dead now.

Albertus & Rosemarie
Yeah they're also dead, like Vilma. Basically they're Nyte's parents.
