Tikal broke the long silence by asking, "Excuse me Demetrius, but how
are we supposed to get to you're world? I don't suppose we're going to get
there on a road trip."
"Well, to be honest, I'm not exactly sure." Demetrius stammered.
Tikal did not at all look surprised to hear that, "Figures," she
mumbled to herself. Sora floated over by Tikal,
"Tikal if you will allow me, I will show,
To you the portal that ignoramus doesn't know."
Demetrius's face muscles twitched, "EXCUSE ME?!" he loudly asked,
gritting his teeth. Sora ignored him and led Tikal over to the nearby lake.
The night sky reflected off the water's surface beautifully. Tikal
noticed that the clouds were covering the moon. A SNAP and the sound of
leaves rustling assured her that Demetrius was following them sulkily.
She wondered what Sora could possibly want to show her by this lake.
Aside from the beautiful sight of the moonlit water, there wasn't much to
see.
She stared at Sora, he was hovering over the water and chanting in
some language that she could not understand. Suddenly the clouds parted and
revealed the Moon. However, it shone a brilliant blue color. As the clouds
fully parted the light from the moon shone down on the tiny lake.
As the light hit the lake, the water began to shine with a magical
blue light. Tikal stared in wonder as she watched Sora dive right into the
mystifying water.
Tikal and Demetrius exchanged glances with each other, then Demetrius
dove right in after Sora. Tikal just stood there, not knowing what to
really do, then Demetrius emerged from beneath the Glowing water, "You
coming or what?"
Tikal nodded and Dove right into the magical water.
Tikal felt very odd. She felt as if she were falling. She felt dizzy,
and almost queasy. Suddenly she felt as if something had grabbed her and
yanked her forward, into the unknown darkness. She braced herself, not
knowing what she would find, as she disappeared into the darkness of the
water.
Meanwhile, far away in a dark cave outside the outskirts of
Moonshine, a creature of evil and darkness awoke, with a hungry gleam in
its red eyes. The Senoue sensed something, something pure and precious. It
climbed to its feet and began to eagerly pace around the cave. It had taken
the form of something almost human. "She is here," it thought, "The one who
is purest of all has returned to her kingdom."
The Senoue, unlike any other creature known to man, could take on any
form or shape it wished. It could also multiply into several little
Senoueites, an army of them if it wished. However, it took a lot of energy
to create an army, and that was energy that the Senoue did not have at the
moment. However, ten or so Senoueites could do the trick, because they had
the ability to form together and make one big Senoueite monster.
The Senoue may have been the only one of its kind that was known to
man, but that was ok, since the Senoue could not die. It grinned at the
thought, exposing a set of fearsome teeth. How pathetic were the poor fools
that had once attempted to destroy it.
The Senoue was quite old, and experienced, it had been alive for more
than five thousand years after all. It had come to be when a bolt of Black
Lightning struck a caldron full of dark magic potion, which had been
concocted by an evil wizard named Nexus Kanoveil. The Black Lightning
combined with the dark potion and formed the Senoue.
Nexus had hoped to control the new life form that had emerged from
his potion, but it wouldn't be so. After learning many things from the dark
wizard, including the ability of speech, the Senoue betrayed its creator,
killing him. The Senoue killed its victims by absorbing their heart. The
Evil wizard's heart corrupted the Senoue, making it mad with power. And so
the Senoue lived on, absorbing heart of the fools who dared defy it, the
pure hearts of princesses, and sometimes for the hell of it, the hearts of
innocent people.
It had been slain many times over the past thousand years, and takes
on a weaker and smaller form of an average animal. Weakened, it lives on
until one day it spies an innocent fool, all by themselves and attacks
them, absorbing their hearts, and making the Senoue powerful once again.
The one thing that would even come close to destroying it was the
power of a pure heart combined with the same force that had given it life;
Black Lightning. It was because of this, that the Senoue traveled around
searching for the purest of hearts, so no one could ever stop it. There
were three princesses that had the purest hearts; Tikal Haze, Luna Kaito,
and Stardust Applino. The Senoue just could not seem to get them. Luna and
Stardust were very well protected, and Tikal was sent away to another world
out of the Senoue's reach. If the three princesses of heart combined their
powers of pure heart, they could destroy the Senoue.
"I have to get Tikal before she meets the other two." The Senoue
realized. It could sense their power, and the Senoue disliked anything
stonger than itself.
It concentrated deeply and put most of it's energy and power into
creating a small squad of Senouites. They formed and oozed off the Senoue's
back, each one more hideous and evil looking than the last.
Each of them had a sharp set of horns on their head, to paralyze or
poison their prey. They form their wicked little mouths into a grin,
exposing a set of sharp little fangs for teeth. As soon as the squadron had
been formed; at least ten Senouites or so, they set off towards the Notana
forest. They knew what they had to do. The Senoue didn't say a word to
them, they just knew. It watched them depart, grinning maliciously.
