The Fountain Of Sarcasmic Wit... (Cont'd)

XIII.

Now I pray for the night to come,
To take me away from myself.
To hide me away from myself

Sitting here so lonesome (so lonesome)

Why did I have to go and fall for a shooting star,
Alight up in the skies,
The twinkle in my eyes,
The truth behind my lies.
She burn'd up an' left a scar in my heart (in my heart).

Wasting away inside, so cold and afraid
Come crashing down,
Come falling down,
Come screaming down.
See the world that I had made (that I had made).

Now I pray for the night to come,
To take me away from myself
To hide me away from myself

Sitting here so lonesome (so lonesome)

XIV.

Time heals all wounds

Watching
Waiting
Anticipating
Remembrance
Eternity
All those things you said to me
Were they all just wasted breath?

Crying
Hating
Commiserating
Memories
Forever
Were we meant to be together?
Too much beauty to let face Death

XV.

Why can't I write a song
I know it's there in me
Why can't I find the words
Saying what I wanna see

Paper's still untouched an' pure
Though the pen's there in my hand
Searching for the words
My mind's an undiscovered land

XVI.

It's the end of the world
What have you done?
Did you do what you should
Or were you just a number
One of many

Like a virus we have spread
Thieving - our sole trait
Taking what is not ours
Killing for the sake of it
Because we could

We are not worthy
We are not holy
Man created God
To hide his true Sin

Like the hunter in his prime
We have our prey in hand
Wring it out
Locked in a grip of death
Crush the life
Waiting for the final breath
And still we hold on tight

It's the end of the world
Where have you been?
Hiding in the masses
Have you never opened your eyes
Seen the wasted land
