A/N: Hmm... I suppose there are several meanings, inspirations, and
motivations behind this awful piece. ^_^ Yes, I'm aware of how horribly
it's written *blushes and backs into a dark corner*. Gah...It's so awful
*bleh*. If you've been reading my blurty, (which I'm sure most of you
haven't, since I've tried to keep the URL away from people who know me
personally, since I talk about people a lot), then you probably know where
the majority of this poem comes from, ne? I've also been listening to
"Breath No More", by Evanescence, and that was part of it. *shrugs* There
are more, but I'm sure you don't want to hear about them all... Ne?

Empty Reflection
[By Bunny-Chan a.k.a. Broken Faith]

I want you to tell me...
What "perfect" means

Of course,
You'll never know my definition,
Will you?

What wouldn't I give...?

For you to look at me and smile when you see that I'm happy
To know that you think about me
To hear you talk about me, and how I'm your "friend"
To know that I mean something at all to you...

You're special
You're perfection
You're aware that I feel this way,
Ne?

Though...
What good is anything I feel?

After all...
I'm nothing
No one important

Isn't that right?

I recognize my own insignificance
So shouldn't you as well?

Or do you already?

You're just my reflection
I see you only how I want to

A reflection, surely
But an empty one

Because while you are my everything,
I am your nothing

[For you, always and forever, because I will never lose what I have now,
regardless of what you may think or feel. I'm sure that you know who you
are, ne? No matter how you feel about me (or don't feel about me, I suppose
is the more proper wording in this situation), you are still my
"everything", and I want you to know that I'll be here, should you ever
decide to need me for anything.]
