My words are foolish
No deep meaning
Hardly any truth
But you still listen
Saying it's a work of art
Should you listen
To words put together
Which seem to have some meaning

Do you think it's not right
To degrade the things I write
But then I might be the one out of sight
Not seeing how I make my words flow
Not seeing that my work does grow

Whatever decision we make
Words writing or thought in mind
Are just things that replace
The true feeling
