There are three things I should warn you about before you begin:
1) You are reading what is more-or-less a first draft manuscript. There
will be errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and possibly even
plot continuity. I do intend to address these issues, but it's not a
pressing concern as long as the characters keep surprising me with the
next chapter in their lives. If I feel an error in an existing chapter
demands my immediate attention, I will fix it, but don't expect to see
a lot of that until the first draft is complete.
2) While some of the people, places and situations described in this
story have real life counterparts, I have tried to treat them all as
fictional. You might be surprised at how few liberties I've taken to
dramatize these things, but they are purely out my own imagination
nonetheless. I would say that any similarity to real persons and
places living or dead is purely coincidental, but that would be a lie.
Much of the story has been based on my truthful observations of the
world, but their lives in this story are my own creation.
3) Under no circumstances whatsoever will I entertain or acknowledge
homophobic, racist or hate-filled comments on the story. My own life
is filled with multi-cultural, multi-sexual, multi-gender and multi-
religious people, and to attack my story on the basis that you have a
problem with any of these things will be treated as a personal
affront.
That said, I truly do welcome feedback positive or negative. If you like what you're reading, let me know. If you think I'd enjoy the work of another author, let me know. If you think my plot is cliché and my characters unbelievable, let me know. All I ask is that you be able to back your comments with thoughtful and relevant observations.
Thank you, Tyreseus
