Have you ever had a feeling

of imminent doom

Living life in a cycle

of perpetual gloom?

All the lights in the house are on

but darkness remains

A shadowy forecast

of darker days

Crazy heart and blinded mind

spinning out of control

Life’s hectic pace

has taken it’s toll

before I go completely insane

too deep even for pain
