"Since Then"

Three days, three nights
The same things happen
The sun doesn't come out anymore
The dark clouds linger
Ominous and so unforgiving

Three days, three nights
I lay awake at my bedside.
Still, silent, not moving.
The snow it falls
It never stops snowing

Three days, three nights
There's no more people in this town anymore.
Only their ashes, scattered among the rubble
This town is gone now
Forever lost.

Three days, three nights since they launched it.
And now, everything is gone
Forever lost.
Only blood and tears remain.
The aftermath of nuclear war.
