Skies turn green with the twilight
Butterflies ring 'round the sun
Toadstool circles around yellow roses
And darkness sparkles with glory

Brightness of dark cancels out light
And the night sighs in fatigue
All the creatures, they yearn for the light
A light not tainted by dark

Light brings with it a blindness,
This light untainted by dark
Yet no one cares, for it is true:
Brightness has come at last

The blind followers of the light,
They shall one day see;
Their views were cleared by the dark
And darkness was better than light

Soon the brightness of dark
When the creatures find out the truth
Shall brighten the world once more
And cancel out light again
