Simple Idiocities

Mindlessly careening into my surreal reality

My eyes glaze over and unfocused thoughts take over me

Rolling in a paper field

Magenta clown fish floating through the sky

Protecting me from the predator

Hunting me

The taste of vanilla rain leaves me dry

And craving sweet release

Swimming through a sea of glue

Struggling and getting stuck

Pondering the thousands of spoons dancing through my mind

Attacking their waltz partners and falling dead

The Cheshire cat keeps offering cigars

I reject him as my daze starts to unravel

Sinking back into a lucid state

And laughing at my foolish idiocities
