This is my first story on fiction press so try not to be too evil. You may flame me. I also don't know the format much and my chapters are really short. The story is done in Katsumi's POV. This is the new and improved English version! There is still some Japanese for words that don't really exist in English.

My name is Kajimara Katsumi. I am seventeen years old and live with my father who is one of the richest men in Japan. I am quite afraid of living her much longer because many greedy people are after my father's fortune, but I must live here until he finds me a suitable husband.

One day, I was sitting in the courtyard when three samurai stormed into the mansion. They seized my father and started taking valuable goods and money. They gave a look, and all I could do was stare.

Suddenly, my mouth dropped open as a boy about my age who wielded a katana stormed into the courtyard. "Let the man go!" he demanded.

The samurai immediately dropped my father and picked up their katanas. The mysterious boy also picked up his katana and readied himself.

I was afraid. I knew the boy was on my side, but he was going up against three samurai himself!

I stared as they fought, but it was too fast for me to understand until simultaneously the three samurai fell to the ground. The boy turned to me and said, "Take care of your father for his wealth is wanted by many others."

Then he left, before I could answer.
